KNOCK, KNOCK. WHO'S THERE?

Today was not a good day. Johnny Carson died, the Steelers lost, and I woke up to a 39 inch snow drift in front of my door. Shoveling that out was great fun.

WHITE LIGHT, WHITE NOISE... WHITE CRAP

Last night I went and saw the film "White Noise." I can't remember the last time Michael Keaton was in a movie, and if I could log on to IMDB right now I'd check and see, but I don't think he's been in anything since he played a snowman in the late 90's. Anyway, Michael Keaton is a really great actor and he seems like a pretty fun guy, but unfortunately he signed on to make a complete piece of crap. Save yourselves and your money, people. Don't go see "White Noise." It sucks real, real hard. I'm going to have to go and cleanse my pallet now. I think I'll watch Beetlejuice.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Well, 2005 is here and after taking a little holiday slack time over the last two weeks, I'm now back into full-blown busyness. First off, I'm working on a complete rework of this site. All the work here is pretty dated and lots of things are on the chopping block, maybe even this photojournal (that final decision hasn't been made yet, but it is a real possibility). Next up, my dad will be having a show next month. Details to come, but I'm helping him organize it, and I've got a to-do list a mile long. And then of course there's all the other usual stuff that keeps me just a little bit crazy.

As for the new year, well, I'm looking forward to it. I didn't make any New Year's resolutions (I never do). Setting goals for the year ahead is one thing, but I just think that if a person decides to do, or not do something, then they should just do it (or not do it). The first of January should have nothing to do with a personal commitment. Anyway, as I said before, I'm looking forward to 2005. I don't know what it will bring, but if it's half as good as 2004 was for me, then it will be a good year. So, here's to good times and good projects in 2005!
