FROM BUSY TO BUSY

I saw this car in a parking lot in Washington about a month ago. I don't know what the story is behind it, but I love it.

Well, I've gone from busy to busy. The first calculus deadline and the frog sculpture are both taking longer than I had hoped, but they'll both soon be done. As soon as they're out of my hair, I'm headed to DC for the end of the quarter crunch at the other job. I'm multi-tasking like a mad man right now, but it's all good. Stay tuned. Soon I'll have good things to show.

FROM CALCULUS TO HEALTH CARE AND BACK

Well, I've finally gone and made a big change. This has been about three months in the making, but I've taken on a contract position with Meridian, my old company in Pennsylvania, to update the 3d art for the next calculus book. At the same time, I've dropped down to freelance status with the Advisory Board, the company I've been with for the last four years in Washington. So what this means is that for at least the next six months, I'm going to be doing a lot of traveling back and forth between Erie and Washington. This is going to be really good for me. No only will it be a refreshing change, but it's going to allow me the flexibility to really get involved in some other things, such as the LeapFrog Erie outdoor art project. On Monday, my dad and I went out to the fiberglass shop to check the progress of the frogs. The first of two designs are hopping out of the molds nicely, and the second frog isn't far behind.
